PAYMENT

All prices quoted on our website are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD). All prices are inclusive of GST. All payments will be processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
 Valid Visa and MasterCard Credit and Debit Cards are accepted and processed through our secure third party gateway, Stripe. The Gift Collective website does not record or store cardholder account data and information. Cardholder account data and information is maintained by our secure third party gateway, Stripe.

FEES

The Gift Collective has introduced new pricing! For new events created after 1 September 2018, the ONLY cost is a 3% service-charge added to the amount of the gift, at checkout. Gift Givers pay 3% on top of their gift amount. To receive your gift amount, it’ll cost you zero. Simple and transparent. Easy for your guests. Better for you.

ORDER PROCESSING

Gift Occasion orders on our website will be processed and published at the time of setup. A correct First Name, Surname, Email Address and Date of Birth are required for a Gift Occasion order to be processed. Purchases made on our website will be processed at the time of purchase. Once a Gift Occasion has been closed by a Gift Organiser, The Gift Collective will process and transfer funds to the Gift Organiser’s nominated bank account via direct credit within seven (7) working days.

REFUNDS POLICY

Please let us know (in writing) within seven (7) days of your purchase should you wish to request a refund. Please outline the reason for your request and include your reply email address and contact telephone number (preferably mobile telephone number) within your request. All refund requests will be handled in person by a designated The Gift Collective Customer Care representative.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel your Gift Occasion, please let us know in writing. Money for Gift Puzzle pieces paid for by your Gift Givers will be returned to them, minus any administration costs incurred by The Gift Collective, and bank fees and charges incurred to return funds.

COUPONS

Coupon codes provided to any customer must be entered into the coupons box at checkout at the time of purchase on our online store. Coupons must be used in one single transaction only, but may be used for the purchase of more than one item in a single transaction. Coupons must not be used in conjunction with any other offer such as a sale, discount or other coupon. The customer in possession of the coupon is responsible for paying any amount in excess of the value of the coupon should the total value of their order on www.thegiftcollective.com be in excess of the value of the coupon. PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

Any promotional offers undertaken by The Gift Collective, whether at www.thegiftcollective.com or any other website, is subject to the usual Terms and Conditions for sales on www.thegiftcollective.com as well as the Terms and Conditions set by any website hosting that promotional offer. Where the promotional offer is for a particular item or items, the recipient may not exchange, return or refund any item received via this promotional offer. Where the promotional offer is for a coupon of a set value, the Terms and Conditions set out above in relation to Coupons apply and the recipient may not exchange, return or refund any item purchased using the coupon. PAYMENT SERVICE

Payment processing services for users on TheGiftCollective.com are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service(collectively, the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By agreeing to these terms or continuing to operate as a registered user on TheGiftCollective.com, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of TheGiftCollective.com enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide TheGiftCollective.comaccurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize TheGiftCollective.com to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.

Unless the customer has another valid written agreement with The Gift Collective, the Terms and Conditions outlined under this section of this website apply to all sales made via the online platform www.thegiftcollective.com or otherwise. By purchasing from The Gift Collective you agree to the stated Terms and Conditions.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Gift Collective will not be liable for any damages, either direct or indirect, as a result of the third party product or service you purchase or employ using the funds you have received through your Gift Occasion collective. This includes (but is not limited to) any service outages, delays in delivery, breaches of security, viruses, accuracy of information provided including (but not limited to) descriptions, dimensions, photos and prices.

We do not provide any warranties on our products or services other than what is required by law.

In the event that The Gift Collective is considered liable, you agree that liability will be limited to the amount spent with us.

YOUR USE OF OUR WEBSITE

The Gift Collective’s website content and design is copyright. Please do not reproduce or copy any part of the website.

You must not use the website in a harmful, abusive, offensive or threatening manner.

REFERRAL PROGRAM

The following terms and conditions govern your participation in The Gift Collective Customer Referral Program, which we’ll call the Program here for short. The Program is run by us; The Gift Collective Pty Ltd, or just ‘The GC’.

The Participants referred to below are you (a Gift Giver), and the person you’ve referred (a Referred User). To be eligible for a reward, you, as participants must agree to be bound by the rules described below.

  1. Definitions
    1. Referred User: someone who’s been referred to The GC by a Gift Giver. You become a Referred User by clicking on a Gift Giver’s unique referral link and creating a new event on The GC’s platform (Referred Account).
    2. Only the person who creates the Referred Account is considered the Referred User, and there can only be one Referred User for each Referred Account created.
    3. Referred Account: a new account created on The GC by a Referred User through a Gift Giver’s unique referral link.
    4. Gift Giver: someone who is an active member of The GC at the time the referral is made.
    5. Eligible Referral: A Referred Account qualifies as an Eligible Referral if all of the following conditions are met:
      • the Referred Account is successfully created on The GC by the Referred User through the Gift Giver’s unique referral link
      • a Referred Account can only be successfully created where the Referred User resides in one of the 24 countries where withdrawals in the relevant currency are supported by The GC. If you are outside one
